Epping Medicare Urgent Care Clinic - NOW OPEN

Labor is making it easier to see a doctor

Andrew Giles MP and the Albanese Labor Government are funding the Epping Medicare Urgent Care Clinic.

Medicare Urgent Care Clinics are located across Australia, providing walk in, bulk billed, urgent health care from highly qualified doctors and nurses.

Now our community has access to this care, with a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic located at Epping Plaza Medical and Dental Centre. Open 7 days a week, 8am to 10pm.

Urgent care is when you need medical attention for an illness or injury that can’t wait for a regular appointment with a GP, but doesn’t require a visit to hospital. This includes things like minor fractures, sprains, minor infections, respiratory illnesses, mild burns, severe stomach pains, or urinary tract infections.

Medicare Urgent Care Clinics are helping take pressure off hospital emergency departments.

The Albanese Government is continuing to strengthen Medicare and ensuring people in the northern suburbs get the medical care they need, when they need it.
